Not at all. Most people start because they want help getting fitter. I’ll match the sessions to your level so you can build up safely and feel comfortable from day one.
We talk about your goals, any injuries, and what you want from training. Then we go through a light workout so I can see how you move and plan the right programme for you.
Not at all. I work with a lot of beginners. I’ll show you how everything works and make sure you feel confident using the equipment.
It's good to have your own set of weights, and ideally a bench, to work with, but, to begin with we can do weight bearing exercises instead. I have even adapted sessions to use a shopping bag filled with 1kg bags of sugar before!
We can discuss the basic equipment in our taster session, and I can give you advice on what to do, for example maybe buying some second hand weights to begin with to get started.
Sessions are usually around an hour. That gives us time to warm up properly, train with good technique, and finish without rushing.
Most people do two or three sessions a week, but it depends on your schedule and goals. We’ll find a routine that fits your life. I have clients that train from 1 to 4 sessions a week.
You’ll usually feel stronger and more energetic within a few weeks. Visible changes take a bit longer and depend on how consistent you are with training, sleep, and food. I can give you advice on all on those in our sessions.
It depends on the injury. I can adapt exercises so you can train safely, and if something needs checking by a physio, I’ll let you know.
Comfortable clothes, a bottle of water, and that’s it. I’ll handle the rest.

But, the simple answer is that you choose the package you want to go for, and you then pay into the Luca Health & Physique business account before the session(s). The reason for this is

But, In short, I do allow cancellations of individual sessions prior to 24 hours from the sessions.
I also allow package cancellation, if necessary. For the latter, the money refunded is calculated based on the number of sessions, what package they fall into, etc. to allow for the different packages I provide to be fairly charged. This process is outlined in detail in the Luca Health & Physique cancellation policy, with examples, which you would have to agree to should you wish to commit and train with me.
